CPS 11 - Playday 1
Date: 21.05.2013 - 12:03 by Wotre
First playday is a fact!

Schedule

Day 1:

eK vs Impact: 5-1

eK confirming their role as favourite by beating Impact with 5-1. Only question was if eK could count on their best players and this is the case, so it 's clear that they are THE TEAM TO BEAT in this division. However also Impact has their best line up ready this season. So we better watch out for both teams. Judging on the screens however, if we had played vs them this playday we probably would have won. But every playday is different, a lot can change for both teams!

iGn vs THC: 4-2

We have reached an important victory against THC. They were as expected pretty strong and have a wide line up, so they can go very far in this division if they keep this up. Our performance on the 3v3 could have been much better, we didn't play as good as we did in training. However our 1v1 and 2v2 were very strong. On the 5v5 (Pukki aka crashmap) Xeonn and Noviso carried us home, good job to the entire team of course, keep this training up!

pro vs eXception: 5-1

I watched this match on the relay, it was a very tight match but with a very low level. Exception couldn't count on their best line up at all, their best players focussed on the semi final of the Exotic Cup on tm2 and you could see this in the performance. Sayel performed well in the 1v1 beating Meerica from pro. But the other maps went clearly to Pro. Pro was lucky meeting eXception like this, because they weren't playing strong either. Narko was missing and you could see this. Good start of pro, too bad for eXception.

Livestream first CPS match Vs. THC
Date: 20.05.2013 - 19:34 by Frederik

Recorded stream iGn' vs THC match from May 20, 2013!!!

since this stream account is normally used for streaming iGn' mxsimulator matches, the offline image is a motorcrosser, but the match itself is what is says above.

enjoy watching, but skip a part of the beginning to see the start of the match, cause the warm up took a while and shows the warm up screen only

Division 4: Analysis
Date: 19.05.2013 - 09:12 by Wotre
IGN

Line up: Pain, San, Bloed, Disgo, Flits, Fragius, Gili, K0en, Klaas, McCoy, Mekke, Nnoitra, Noviso, nrg, R0uy, Infector, Tjirlie, XeonN

What to expect? Several things have changed since last CPS. IGN wont participate with two teams anymore, now they have one team. Last season we had Xeonn and Troll to carry us through, but Troll left after CPS 10. Since then Pain has really stepped up his game and is kind of replacing his role. This season we have some unavailable players: Wotre due to exams, Infector still struggling with his broken hand and some others who don't have much time due to exams. However, we have several great guest players who will cover this for us (hopefully). With Klaas and Noviso we have two players who can drive division 1 for sure. And then ofcourse we have Fragius, Gili, K0en and Flits of who we all know what they are capable of. We should be amongst the best teams in this division (last year, competition was a bit better), but that's what we thought at the beginning of last season as well.

THC Racing

Line up: Nrjz, Lateralus, Troll, 4-Ever, Air, Raso, Airman, Arola, eXe, Gurren, Gabbo, Jorik, Killzone, Mathics, Thommy, TNT4blast, Zycsel

What to expect? THC is a fairly new team when it comes to competition. To be honest I didn't expect much of them. But in recent tournaments XTA and TMM they have proven they can do well on 40 second maps, curious if they will maintain their motivation on the longer ESL maps. With Troll they have a great driver in their ranks, but the rest is kind of hard to tell right now. We have seen 4-Ever driving very well in XTA. With Air, Raso, Zycsel and Arola they have some good recruits, let's wait if they will hurt us. Not to be underestimated at all.

Impact

Line up: McFly, Dr.NoRage, IrondL, GeoFraii, Alexis, Bodox, Cobrask, Dav, Fabulous, Farcry69, Glaudryk, Jerozor, Math, Spiin, Theo, Virus, Wax

What to expect? An opponent from last year. The result was a draw back then. They have several strong drivers and that can result in good matches, because in ESL individuals are important with the 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3. Their line up is somewhere the same as last year with some small changes. Theo seemed to transfer to 711 (that was the case during TMM), but now it seems he has returned. Virus and Cobrask have been recruited from Insight. So in theory, they have become a bit stronger. They have about the same level of us.

Exception

Line up: Slash, Despe, Doro, Doumey, Gusbi, kaiory, Nameless, Nektar, Orhime, Phil622, Sayel, Scream, Spirit, Titgus, Trashouz, Voodoo, Zatox

What to expect? Some new names, but I don't know any of them. With Despe, Trashouz and Scream they have three players who can hurt us. They have hurt us last year as well, but they didn't have their best day back then and we won 6-0. I don't expect anything less this season. With Sprinter, who comes from Acorn, they have done a good recruit.

iDream

Line up: Remito, TvhHouse, Jahtouk, akti, Alino, Boby, Coco, Cruor, Greatadi, MBK, Nika, Silver, Skillet, Sky, Viince, X-plows, Zadja

What to expect? Very hard to say what to expect here. I'd say they are the worst team in this division but I should be very careful with that, because I simply don't know them. Last year they were in 5th division and they have won 6-0 of our second team. This second team drove with xxrider, infector, disgo, speedster etc so they were not weak at all. Let's be careful with them and not underestimate them like every other team.

Easy.Esports

Line up: Paxmower, Annilein, Bananaking, Banane, Bigley, Burning, Darkbringer, Eraser, Mickel, Nerox, Red, Scary, Smart, Smog, Speed_u_need

What to expect? They are the favourite of this division for sure. They have several great drivers: Darkbringer, Nerox, Scary, Speed_u_need... We see them often in dedimania. Also last TMM we saw a great performance of them reaching 1/16th finals vs 3DMAX. Let's give everything here and let's hope this is the match for place 1 (which would mean we have won everything else :p).

pro.Team!

Line up: Narko, Elixir, Arthur, Bunny, Dany, Ervis, Fluid, Grav, Hubert, Jerem, Manu, Maranello, Meerica, Nicoche, Nor, Seb, Teddy, Wawa

What to expect? We know this team pretty well. No need to say that this will be a heavy match since our last two confrontations. Last season our second team lost vs them (became then a draw after accountmistakes from both sides) and past TMM we have smashed them down after a weird start of the match. They think of us as an unfair team and we are probably their arch enemies, so they will be very motivated! Narko is of course their best player but after him they have a wide line up of active and decent players. With Meerica, Seb and Hubert as their guests (or new players, don't know) they have got some nice potential.

The guess of Wotre

It's actually really hard to say who will end up where because all teams are really tight to each other. It will all depend on how motivated everyone is and how trained they are. And of course a bit of luck in the matches. This is my guess, maybe it's more how I hope it to be, I don't know. Can't wait to find out!

New loadscreen for our TM servers - designed by rAmpage
Date: 16.05.2013 - 03:41 by Smoeshie

rAmpage seems to be in a designers-mood lately.
Besides the background and the headers of our website, and a very nice video-intro he made, he surprised us again with an awesome loadscreen for our TM servers.

The initial image appeared a few days ago and after changing some of the elements to make it look better, he came with this version, that is maybe not the final one, but very close to it.

Link to the high resolution version

Maybe it is time to test it on one of our servers just to see how it looks there.

This is really great, rAmpage.

ESL CPS 11 - Core
Date: 14.05.2013 - 05:27 by Smoeshie

ESL announced the 11th season of their Competition Premiership (CPS) a while ago and the planned starting date of the tournament is set to May 19th.
Despite the release of TM² beta the competition will still be played in TMNF as before.

We intiated early preps in April to find out how many players would be available and whether we would participated with 1 or 2 teams this time.
Finally we decided not to particate with 2 teams (Core and Cell), but concentrate on the Core team only.

Core Team Preps

The sign up for teams is closed since may 3th and 46 teams seem (changing all the time) to be registered.

CPS 11 Teams

The sign up closure for players is May 19th, but the Core team is full and there are no spots left anymore for now, all taken by the best we have in tech at the moment:

Admins: Pain en San
Players: bloedeiktand, DisGo, Fragius, Frederik77, gamevampy, Gasgano, McCoy, Mekke, Nnoitra, nrg, Plax, rOuy, Sir Infector, Snx, TjirLiE and XeonN.

Core Team on ESL

They are all cool guys, selected by iGn-eSports for their skills, personality and sex appeal, and of course, as always, many fans, groupies and screaming girls will be on the relayserver during matches. amüsiert

We first planned to continue with Wotre and San as admins who did both a very nice job in the previous CPS, but Wotre has to let go this time due to major exams, although he will still be present and available for advise.
Pain will replace Wotre as he seemed to be the ideal choice for it.

Our general matchdiscussions will be posted in our public forum so that non-Coremembers can also follow the advance of our team, but essential info that is way too interesting for our opponents will be posted in our private board, created for this purpose.

Our Core team will play in 4th Division against • Easy.eSports • iD • pro. Team ! • THC Racing • IMPACT# TrackMania and • eXception.

CPS 11 Divisions

The first mappack has already been released on May 12 and added to our FreeZone and WarZone server.

Available iGn-eSports servers for CPS 11 will be:

FreeZone CPS 11 | iGn'
WarZone CPS11 | iGn'
SpecZone CPS11 | iGn' (relay)

All server-connectdata can be found here: iGn-eSports Servers.

Latest admin changes in iGn-eSports TM Speed, RPG and Tech
Date: 02.05.2013 - 01:50 by Smoeshie
A while ago our RPG team has been created with Nevan as teamleader, soon assisted by Disgo as co-teamleader.
Since Nevan is less active at the moment, Disgo took the lead in practice, although the functions have not changed officially yet.
The team seems to be a success from the start and the admins did a very nice job in building the team and recruiting very skilled players for it.

San and Wotre have been excellent admins of our Core team, but unfortunately Wotre has major exams during CPS11 and will have to skip it, while San is renovating his house, and although he will still participate when he can, he will have less time than before.
Since our Core team needs a good an active leader for CPS, they proposed to be replaced by Pain, who is, according to them 'the ideal choice'.
Pain will still be assisted by Wotre and San when they can, but if necessary, he will pick a co-teamleader of his choice later on.

Smoeshie, teamleader of team 0 until now, but unable to give the team as much attention as he did in the past due to the growth of iGn-eSports, will be replaced by Licia, who showed to have what it takes for it.
Licia will be mostly active in TMNF and proposed DDaems as co-teamleader for TM².
DDaems is a good choice, cause he has proven to be active and motivated, not only for fun, but also for competition.

The new official situation:

0.Speed: Teamleader Licia - co-teamleader DDaems

6.RPG: Teamleader Nevan - co-teamleader Disgo

8².Tech: Teamleader Pain

Thanks to all admins, responsible for the success of our above teams in the past, and gratz to the brand new admins.

lächeln

EDIT: Ofc Wotre and San are still officially admins of our Core team, cause nobody want to loose quality admins, but in practice they will be not or less active in CPS11.

iGn-eSports Internal Speedcup
Date: 24.04.2013 - 22:31 by Smoeshie

For a while now our speedteam is in search for opponents to be able to organise some wars, but opponents are hard to find and tired of waiting DDeams, in agreement with Licia, decided to organise an internal speedcup, meaning that the cup is for iGn' members only.

iGn' Speedcup in TM²
May 4, 2013 @ 20:00 CET

***WarZone. Speed | iGn' server on TM²***

Internal Speedcup Topic

___________________

The first problem was to decide to organise it in TMNF or in TM², but finally TM² has been choosen to encourage our members who still only play TMNF to try out TM² aswell.

At the moment the mapselection is ongoing and already one map has been choosen for sure: ESL-MadneZz.
Soon the other two maps will be announced.

There is no signup since every iGn' member who would like to play in this speedcup can participate, the only requirement is to be in time on the server.

More details will be announced as soon as they are available.

EDIT: second track has been choosen aswell: [FS]² Focus
you can find the links to the tracks in the Internal Speedcup Topic.
EDIT2: third track: Dominate

iGn' Bowling in leuven - April 13, 2013 - Part 2
Date: 20.04.2013 - 11:40 by Smoeshie
Besides the gallery with pictures of the bowling that has been published a few days ago, there is also some video footage made by rOuy and myself, and also enough remaining pictures to make a second gallery that will be published later on.

It was not the intention to make a video and therefore mostly pictures have been made, but looking at the few occasional seconds that have been recorded, i thought that it would be nice to stitch them together into one video and publish it anyway.
It's not much, but it gives a better impression of the spirit of the event than pictures only.

Fortunately rAmpage came with the betaverion of his awesome intro, otherwise i would have had nothing but a text intro, and from this intro he also made a short outro to end the movie.

There is no question about it that pll. had a very nice time and the reactions in the Bowling Aftertalk Topic speak for themselves.

Bowling Aftertalk Topic

Many thanks to members who came from rather far away, like Gasgano, dNs, GameVampy.....because, without them, it would not have been the same.

Finally i have to mention that Pol de Lepel did a great job in organising this event and in making it a smooth and pleasant happening.
Thanks, Pol.

We definitely have to do this again.
Have fun watching!
